Go-Rilla

The original dunking mascot of the NBA, Go the Gorilla first jumped into action back in 1980, choosing to perform a high-flying, acrobatic routine rather than the traditional good-natured joking around with fans. He pioneered moves like soaring dunks off a trampoline and rappelling from the ceiling. One of the first furry figures enshrined in the Mascot Hall of Fame, the Gorilla has taken his act global, performing in South America, Europe and Asia. In 1994, the Suns debuted an assistant gorilla, named Junior, to help Go perform his in-game antics.
